About Us
There is an immense power contained in the name "Shri Swami Samarth". It was with this name that on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, on 18th October 2025, our service "Shri Swami Samarth Namsmaran Seva" was established.
Thousands of miles away from India, in Malaysia, the devotion to Swami is as deep as that of the devotees of India. But the opportunity to chant nama and serve while living abroad was rare here. In the spirit of filling this gap, only 10-12 Swami devotees came together and started this seva.
And in no time, in just 8 months, by the grace of Swami and the faith of all of us, this family has grown to 40-45 devotees. "Do not be afraid, I am with you" is the blessing of Swami even while living abroad.
Even though we are far away from the motherland, Swami's name binds us in a thread. Many who have participated in this service have experienced peace, positive energy and Swami's grace in difficult times of life – some called it a miracle, some called it peace of mind, but there is a common thread in everyone's experience – Swami's presence.
You too should participate in this service of nama-smarana, chant Swami's name and experience that feeling which is difficult to describe in words.

Our Service Methods
This nama-smarana service, which is carried out with the blessings of Swamiji, is performed in a precise and disciplined manner, so that every devotee can experience its purity and meaning.
Sequence of Seva - Our service begins with the recitation of Shri Ganesh Atharvashirsha, followed by the recitation of Swami Stavan, Swami Taraka Mantra, Swami Ashtaka Stotra, Datta Bawanni, Kalbhairav Ashtaka Stotra, Siddha Mangal Stotra, Gayatri Mantra, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and Swami Mantra. This is followed by the Swami's havan and finally the service concludes with the Swami's aarti. The entire service is about 1 hour.
Location and Time of Service: This service is held every fortnight, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Swami devotees who wish to organize this service at their home register their names in advance and the next service is organized at their residence.
Mahaprasad - After the service, all the devotees can take advantage of Mahaprasad. This Mahaprasad is made with love and reverence by the respective host devotees. However, I would like to make it clear that the placing of Mahaprasad is not compulsory - it depends entirely on the wishes and convenience of the host. Some devotees also bring other prasad dishes according to their choice and convenience. In this service, the only thing that is expected is that the devotees should be present for a few moments and participate in the chanting of Swami's name.
Balopasana - Another feature of this service is Balopasana. Children who come to serve are also included—they recite a small mantra on their own, tell a mythological story, or say something that connects to their culture and religion. This instills in children their faith in Swami at an early age and deepens their connection with their roots.

"We have not gone, we are alive" - Swami's words of fearlessness
One day Swami Samarth Maharaj was preparing to be buried in the monastery of Akkalkot. The devotees gathered around were crying bitterly. The tears in my eyes didn't stop. "Your Majesty, what will happen to us when you are gone? On whom should we live?" - This was the question in everyone's mind.
At that time, Swami gave a promise in a very compassionate tone - "We have not gone, we are alive!"
And even today, more than a hundred and fifty years later, this promise seems to be ringing true. Swami passed away physically, but his existence, his grace, is still as alive as it was during his lifetime.
Let me tell you the story of a devotee -
Once upon a time, a woman, desperately defeated, took her young son to an unknown village. There was no money, no place to stay, and it was night. She sat on a pedestal and chanted only one name - "Swami Samarth... Swami Samarth..."
Shortly after, an old man stopped on his way. Without asking, he said, "Woman, don't stay here so late, come to my house." That night, Mauli and the child got shelter and food. When she went to thank him the next morning, the man was not there. No one around knew such a man.
At that moment she realized that the Swami himself had come to her rescue.
Today, we hear innumerable such stories from the mouths of Swami devotees spread across the world, from Malaysia to India. Some suddenly get a helping hand in difficult times, someone feels unexpected relief in an incurable illness, or someone suddenly feels a peace that cannot be expressed in words.
The Swami's promise was never hollow. Even today, he makes his presence felt in the life of every devotee in some form or the other. All that is needed is to chant His name with faith.
That's why they say, "Don't be afraid, I'm with you."

The Purpose of Service – An Inner Motivation
"Anant koti cosmic hero, Maharajadhiraj Yogiraj Parabrahma Satchidananda Bhagwan Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj ki Jai!"
As simple as nama is, its power is unfathomable. Every person born in the land of India can easily experience holy places like Akkalkot and Gangapur and their vibrant atmosphere. But when we settle thousands of miles away from our motherland, abroad – this land of Malaysia, I realized how rare this opportunity is.
The devotees of Swami Samarth Maharaj are spread all over the world today, and Malaysia is no exception. But many people living here may not know who the name "Swami Samarth" is, what is his establishment, how immense his power is, and most importantly how easy it is to pray to him. Just chanting his name, "Shri Swami Samarth", that's all!
And when nama-smarana is done wholeheartedly, a different energy is felt in the body, mind and the surrounding environment. This energy is difficult to put into words, but it is definitely felt – it gives peace of mind, gives direction to thoughts, and gradually positive changes begin to take place in life. Swami's blessings are felt at all the three levels of body, mind and soul.
It is my heartfelt wish and desire that this experience, which is not limited to the devotees of India today, should reach here in Malaysia as well, to those who have not yet come to know Swamiji.
As a matter of fact, I do not have the strength to do this work - it is only the Swami's will, and he himself is doing it through me. What could be more fortunate for me than the Swami choosing me to embark on this holy journey?
So, I'm just an excuse. I have full faith that he is the one who gets it done, and this service will continue uninterrupted with his blessings and will.
